Foods Allowed for Daniel Fast
- Vegetables (fresh, frozen, cooked, raw)
- Fruits (fresh or frozen; limited concentrated fruit juices)
- Whole grains (brown rice, oats, quinoa, barley, whole-wheat pasta)
- Legumes (beans, lentils, peas)
- Nuts and seeds (plain, unsalted)
- Healthy oils in moderation (olive, coconut — some stricter plans avoid added oils)
- Water (primary beverage); some allow natural fruit juices in moderation
- Herbs, spices, and minimally processed plant-based foods
